Overview:
In 2011, the Tour features six (6) regular points tournament events on both the Iowa and Illinois sides of the Mississippi River. QCAT member players earn standings points based upon their finishing position in each event. In addition, the Tour has one (1) sub-major points event, the "Quad City Amateur" at Emeis Golf Course and one major points event, the "Tour Championship", where points earned are increased. Points for the QCAM are greater than a regular event but less than the major Tour Championship.
A season ending event, "The Hasley Cup", pits the top players in both states against each other using a Ryder Cup style format. The fantastic schedule makes the "Quad City Amateur Tour" one of the strongest amateur golf tours in the Midwest.
Senior Division players must be aged 50 and older. A "senior" player may choose to play in any event as an "Open" or "Senior" Division player by indicating such on the event entry form and earn points in that chosen Division.
Non-tour member players may play in any of our tournaments but will not receive any position finishing points. Their entry fee for each event is the same as a tour member and they qualify to win merchandise rewarded at each event.
